Everytime we go here, the food and drinks are so good. The Backyard area is such a great space too. The only drawback is if you have a drink from outside you like, you can't get it inside and vice versa but its not a huge deal.
Windsor pork chop with the pecan rum butter was incredible! It was cooked perfectly, very tender, and juicy.
First off this is our first time eating here. The food was amazing the bill was a little spendy but definitely worth it for the quality of the food for the area. Their desert was amazing as well. They were down a cook but still happened to get our food out in a very timely manner. Bartender also went above and beyond and we can't forget about the waitress as she also put up with our jokes and did very well as well. We will definitely return to hopefully expirence the same food and service again. Definitely worth the 5 stars.
Amazing food, this is my local fancy place for celebrations. The view and lighting adds so much to the experience and when i bring people here they always enjoy it.
We were looking for somewhere new to try and decided to head to Austin, Minnesota. The Old Mill was an amazing experience. Great bloody Mary! The food was delicious. We had the Trio and also tried the soup of today which was the Asparagus Bisque --YUM!! We were seated at a table that overlooked the water. We drove from Iowa (not too far) and will be back. .
Went with friends to have light meal and apps. Was a band playing, a nice perk!Absolutely a wonderful vibe outdoors on patio. Highly recommend. Staff, friendly and knowledgeable.
I'm not an Austin native and this was my first time to the Old Mill. Heard it was the place to go for a lovely meal and I was not disappointed! Service was awesome, I wish I could remember the name of young lady who waited on us. My partner had the ribeye and I had the walleye. Portions are huge, piping hot and delicious. I was told it was more of a business casual dress code, however I observed it was pretty casual and people were dressed in anything from date attire to jeans and a ball cap. Great place for families too during the main dinner hour. Kids are definitely welcome. The biggest surprise to me though was the whiskey and bourbon list! Holy cow was it huge! Not only that, but the liquor prices were unbelievably reasonable! We would have spent twice as much back in the cities. Really nice surprise. Will definitely be back!
